What We Seek:

As a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer at Zoho Corporation, your responsibilities will encompass the design, implementation, and maintenance of NOC solutions, alongside providing operational support for our European Data Center. A primary focus will be the daily incident management of servers and NOC equipment, in addition to undertaking various project tasks.

You will collaborate closely with the Data Center Manager based in India for project scheduling.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

NOC Engineer: Network Operations

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in NOC operations
  • Proficient in internet routing protocols and TCP/IP concepts, including BGP and OSPF
  • Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals, with a strong foundation in L2 switching and L3 routing
  • Experience with network operating systems such as Forti OS, HPE/Aruba, Arista EOS, and Junos
  • Strong network analytics and troubleshooting capabilities using packet capture and monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with core technologies such as Firewalls, NAT, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM

Server Engineer: Cloud and Infrastructure Operations

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Linux operating systems and cloud infrastructure components, including virtualization and Load Balancers
  • Monitoring of servers and Zoho applications, along with preparing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents
  • Management of various infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, Proxy, OS Image Servers, and Load Balancers
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts like VLAN, NAT, ARP, and fundamental firewall and switch configurations
  • Knowledge of server hardware components, including CPU, RAM, various drive types, and NICs
