About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our Corporate Banking and Treasury IT Department as an Application Manager for Payment Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payment systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our payment systems, including the Payment Hub, SWIFT, and Reconciliation application.
  • Work closely with our business clients to understand their needs and provide IT solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Lead and coach a team of IT professionals to ensure the successful delivery of projects and the maintenance of our payment systems.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and employees to ensure the smooth operation of our payment systems.
  • Drive improvements and provide ideas for new developments to enhance our payment systems and processes.
  • Solve incidents and ensure they do not happen again.

Requirements
  • Experience in managing information systems in the payments process and payment hubs/factories.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT components/landscape and payment and reconciliation processes within and outside a bank.
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in working in an Agile environment (Kanban / Scrum).
  • Ability to coach and help colleagues on behavior as well as content.
  • Fluent in English, with experience with the Dutch culture.
