Senior Manager Payment Operations Specialist

Circle K Europe is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Payment Operations to join our European team with responsibility for the BeNeLux and Germany markets.
This is a business-critical role that requires a strong understanding of payment operations, card issuing, and payment processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality and performance across our payment processes, integrating and optimizing our current issuing, processing, and settlement setup for bank cards and private label fuel cards.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in technology-driven environments at the intersection of business and IT, preferably from the card and payments industry. They will be responsible for contributing to strategy development, supporting operational implementation of global and regional payment initiatives, and managing and optimizing card issuing and acquiring vendor performance.
The Senior Manager Payment Operations will play a pivotal role in securing operational excellence, security, and stability of critical payment processes in BeNeLux and Germany. They will be responsible for defining, measuring, and following up on key vendor performance KPIs/SLAs, supporting incident handling processes, and optimizing pre-, during-, and post-incident processes to improve robustness.
The role requires a strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and keen interest in cards and payment technology. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large data sets, presenting complex materials structured and simplified, and working with diverse multinational stakeholder groups across multiple functional disciplines.
The successful candidate will be a team player with strong relationship-building, inter-personal, and influencing skills. They will be fluent in English (oral and written) and have a positive can-do attitude in a fast-paced business environment.
