Your Expedition: User Research at Polarsteps

We're a dynamic team of 50+ individuals with 20+ nationalities, working together to revolutionize the way people travel. Our ambition is to change the travel industry by providing a smart and beautiful way to plan, track, and relive trips. As a User Researcher at Polarsteps, you'll be part of our Product organization, collaborating directly with cross-functional teams to identify, set up, and run initiatives that inform product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product Teams to select methodologies and run research projects, from planning and recruiting to analyzing and sharing findings.
  • Support product colleagues with research activities, such as unmoderated testing and creating actionable surveys.
  • Turn research activities into actionable insights that inform product development.
The Equipment in Your Backpack:
  • 2+ years of experience as a User Researcher in a consumer-focused technology company, preferably in a scale-up environment.
  • A degree in psychology or a related field that focuses on understanding human behavior and motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the confidence to challenge assumptions and promote research findings.
  • A portfolio of finished research that showcases your intermediate-level research capabilities.
  • A curious and eager mind, driven by an interest in how people use technology to plan and improve their travel experiences.
