Key Responsibilities- Transaction Support
- Provide expert legal advice on complex (international) finance contracts and security documentation;
- Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of finance contracts and security documentation;
- Work closely with deal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Business Development
- Advise internal clients on financing structures and legal issues related to transactions;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new or changes to existing products;
- Contribute to the development of innovative legal and front-office solutions.
- Knowledge Management
- Develop and maintain standard documentation for transactions;
- Provide specialist training for internal clients on legal and regulatory matters;
- Contribute to the development of a knowledge base for legal and regulatory matters.
- Education
- University degree in Dutch law or equivalent foreign degree;
- Experience
- Minimum of 6 years' experience as in-house counsel or lawyer in a law firm;
- Skills
- Proven knowledge of and affinity with financial services, in particular in the field of corporate and structured finance;
- Experience with LMA documentation is a must;
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), Dutch language skills preferred;
- Experience with or a profound interest in applying technology to the delivery of legal services;
- Ability to focus on the key risks of a transaction.
