About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Host to join our team at Savoy Hotel Rotterdam. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with exceptional service and ensuring their stay with us is memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Offer recommendations and information on local attractions, restaurants, and events, enhancing the guest's experience.
- Work collaboratively with the front desk team to maintain a high level of service and quality standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospitality role, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during peak periods.
