About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Host to join our team at Savoy Hotel Rotterdam. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
- Assist with guest requests, such as making reservations, providing information about local attractions, and arranging transportation.
- Work collaboratively with the hotel team to ensure that all guests receive a high level of service and that the hotel is maintained to a high standard.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
