PhD in Machine Learning for Supramolecular Biomaterials

Eindhoven University of Technology is seeking a talented PhD candidate to establish a high-throughput screening lab for supramolecular biomaterials. The goal of the PhD is to develop a machine learning workflow for efficient screening of biomaterials.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement a machine learning workflow for high-throughput screening of biomaterials.
- Collaborate with the Synthetic Biology group and other PhD students and post-docs on this topic.
- Develop and apply machine learning algorithms to analyze data from the screening process.
- Work with the team to establish a dynamic and ambitious research environment.
- A master's degree in chemical engineering and/or (bio)informatics.
- Prior experience with machine learning and/or laboratory automation.
- Prior experience with Python programming language.
- A research-oriented attitude with an analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Full-time employment for four years with an intermediate evaluation after nine months.
- Salary and benefits in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities.
