About the Role:

As a Senior Operations Manager at Boston Scientific, you will be responsible for leading the Inbound, Putaway, Replenishment, and Expediting department to ensure accurate and efficient processing of work according to applicable procedures and timelines. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to represent Operations in the Kerkrade expansion project.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead, and coach warehouse associates through supervisors and team leaders to establish a motivated team.
  • Meet quality objectives by ensuring compliance to quality systems and partnering with the quality function as necessary.
  • Manage the departmental budget and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the Boston Scientific Lean Essentials to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Streamline Logistics processes to eliminate non-value-added activities and drive progressive systems and process initiatives.
  • Create an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and commitment to doing things right.
  • Develop and communicate department goals to achieve effective core metric performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the manufacturing, distribution, and logistics network to ensure optimal communication and process execution.
  • Promote, monitor, and ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies.
  • Facilitate and manage cross-department communications and initiatives.
  • Ensure the integrity of data systems, including Kronos and SAP.
  • Make strategic plans to accommodate future growth and investigate customer complaints through root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or other relevant studies.
  • Advantageous to have experience in supply chain activities within the MedTech sector.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or distribution.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Able to work process-based and very structured.
  • Innovative, independent thinker, and energetic.
  • English language is a must.
