Operations Excellence Manager

Position Overview:
Oversee the Inbound, Putaway, Replenishment, and Expediting departments to guarantee precise and effective execution of tasks in accordance with established protocols and timelines. In addition to managing daily operations, you will play a pivotal role in our expansion initiative in Kerkrade, which involves enhancing the existing warehouse with new facilities and automation.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse personnel through supervisors and team leaders to cultivate a motivated workforce. Achieve quality targets by ensuring adherence to quality systems and collaborating with the quality team as needed. Oversee the departmental financial plan. Implement and uphold the Boston Scientific Lean Essentials methodology. Continuously strive to optimize logistics processes to eliminate non-value-added tasks, driving innovative systems and process improvements. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. Develop and communicate departmental objectives to ensure effective performance against core metrics. Build and maintain relationships with manufacturing, distribution, logistics networks, and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless communication and process execution. Promote, monitor, and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations. Facilitate and manage interdepartmental communications and initiatives. Ensure the integrity of data management systems (e.g., Kronos, SAP). Strategize and plan for future growth opportunities. Investigate customer feedback and address issues through root cause analysis. Participate in the operations management team and report to the Senior Distribution Director for EMEA.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field. Experience in supply chain operations within the MedTech industry is preferred. A minimum of 5 years in logistics or distribution roles. At least 3 years of experience in managing diverse teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven project management experience. Ability to work in a structured, process-oriented manner. Innovative, independent thinker with high energy. Proficiency in English is essential.Requisition ID: 585614
