Operations Manager

About the Role:
As a key member of the Boston Scientific team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Inbound, Putaway, Replenishment, and Expediting departments to ensure seamless and efficient processing of work according to established procedures and timelines. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to drive results and improve processes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach warehouse associates through supervisors and team leaders to foster a motivated and high-performing team.
- Collaborate with the quality function to ensure compliance with quality systems and meet quality objectives.
- Manage departmental budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop and execute the Boston Scientific Lean Essentials to drive process improvements.
- Streamline logistics processes to eliminate non-value-added activities and drive progressive systems and process initiatives.
- Create an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
- Develop and communicate department goals to achieve effective core metric performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with the manufacturing, distribution, and logistics network to ensure optimal communication and process execution.
- Promote and ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies.
- Facilitate and manage cross-department communications and initiatives.
- Ensure the integrity of data systems, including Kronos and SAP.
- Develop strategies to accommodate future growth and investigate customer complaints through root cause analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
- Advantageous to have experience in supply chain activities within the MedTech sector.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics or distribution.
- 3+ years of experience in managing a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Project management experience.
- Able to work process-based and very structured.
- Innovative, independent thinker, and energetic.
- English language proficiency is a must.
