About the Role:

As a key member of the Boston Scientific team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Inbound, Putaway, Replenishment, and Expediting departments to ensure seamless and efficient processing of work according to established procedures and timelines. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to drive results and achieve business objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates through supervisors and team leaders to foster a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with the quality function to ensure compliance with quality systems and meet quality objectives.
  • Manage departmental budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute process improvements to streamline logistics operations and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Drive progressive systems and process initiatives to enhance performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Create an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
  • Develop and communicate department goals to achieve effective core metric performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the manufacturing, distribution, and logistics network to ensure optimal communication and process execution.
  • Promote and ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies.
  • Facilitate and manage cross-department communications and initiatives.
  • Ensure the integrity of data systems, including Kronos and SAP.
  • Develop strategies and plans to accommodate future growth and expansion.
  • Investigate customer complaints and mitigate through root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Advantageous to have experience in supply chain activities within the MedTech sector.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or distribution.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Able to work process-based and very structured.
  • Innovative, independent thinker, and energetic.
  • English language proficiency is a must.
