The firm provides portfolio management services to a wide range of clients, including corporate pensions, governmental entities, public pensions, OCIOs, fiduciary managers, sector-specific pensions, and nonprofit organizations.

Position Overview

Robeco is in search of an Associate to join its Global Consultant Relations team, playing a vital role in engaging with key intermediaries worldwide. The ideal candidate will exhibit high motivation, dynamism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency and pride in their work are essential attributes.

This role is multifaceted and is well-suited for individuals early in their asset management careers who are eager to learn while contributing to a cohesive, truly global team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analytics, including mapping investment consultants and their clients, compiling market intelligence, and performing competitor analysis.
  • Assist Consultant Relations Directors with meeting preparations, client product inquiries, and developing tailored communication initiatives and campaigns. Prepare client meeting materials in collaboration with other departments and oversee the submission and approval of marketing materials such as newsletters and strategy presentations.
  • Manage data effectively, providing market insights to Consultant Relations Directors, overseeing client CRM systems, and utilizing third-party databases to enhance focus and productivity. Develop management reports to drive business effectiveness.
  • Oversee RFP and due diligence processes, managing projects related to these areas.
  • Act as a team ambassador, fostering strong internal relationships and maintaining effective communication within the global team.

Educational Background

  • 1-3 years of relevant industry experience, preferably within an asset management context.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investment strategies.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • IMC qualification is preferred, with additional investment qualifications (CFA, CAIA) viewed favorably, and potential educational support for completion.
