We are seeking an exceptional researcher to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Applied Physics, with a focus on 2D materials growth and characterization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials science, physics, or a related field, and a proven track record of research excellence in the synthesis and characterization of 2D materials.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality research in 2D materials growth and characterization, with a focus on developing new synthesis methods and characterizing their properties.
- Collaborate with our team of researchers to advance our understanding of 2D materials and their applications in next-generation devices.
- Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the development of our curriculum in materials science and physics.
- Secure external funding to support your research program and contribute to the department's research mission.
- PhD in Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience in the synthesis and characterization of 2D materials.
- Strong publication record and a proven track record of research excellence.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
