Assistant Professor in 2D Materials Growth for Future Semiconductors

We are seeking an exceptional researcher to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Applied Physics. The successful candidate will lead research on 2D materials growth with access to cutting-edge synthesis and metrology tools.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-quality academic research in the field of 2D materials synthesis and characterization.
- Develop and lead research projects in collaboration with other departments and industry partners.
- Teach and contribute to the Applied Physics bachelor and master curriculum.
- Mentor students and staff, and lead a project.
- PhD in (Applied) Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable domain.
- Experience in the synthesis and characterization of 2D materials.
- Ability to conduct high-quality academic research, reflected in demonstratable outputs.
- Affinity and willingness to teach and contribute to the Applied Physics curriculum.
- Strong cooperation skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- A meaningful job in a dynamic and ambitious university.
