We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the integration of electrical and automation systems onboard our new build vessels. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, monitoring, and reporting on progress.
- Oversee the integration and testing of electrical and automation systems, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines, procurement, suppliers, and shipyards to drive project success.
- Develop and implement project plans, including demarcations, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments and locations.
- Advise and align with other engineering disciplines on system integration-related issues.
- Examine requirements from class/flag states, suppliers, and clients, and ensure compliance with EMI/EMC rules and physical/data interfaces.
- Organize and participate in project integration reviews and coordinate reviews on documents.
- Participate in tests and trials, such as HIL testing, FAT, HAT, and SAT.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or relevant technical study.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in design, integration, and installation of complex electrical and automation systems.
- Experience in functional development of Control & Monitoring systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch.
- Willingness to travel (short trips about 1 to 2 times a year).
