Stericycle, a leading provider of compliance-based solutions, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to represent the company's sales interests at a national level.

Position Purpose
This role involves positively promoting the organisation to its customers and prospects at a national level. The successful candidate will initiate contact with potential customers and liaise with Sales Executives to book appointments for them to attend and present Shred-it document destruction services.
Sales Commitment
The ideal candidate should possess a positive and professional sales attitude, ensuring that Shred-it's high standards for customer service, security, and environmental consciousness are maintained. They will set goals with the Sales Manager to ensure targets are achieved on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Key Job Activities
The key responsibilities include making a high volume of outbound calls daily, responding to and targeting prospects through tele-sales activities, creating/following-up prospect lists based on SAP, direct mail campaigns, online and other marketing leads and vertical or specific market segments determined by Manager, completing and submitting daily/weekly/monthly reports as required, meeting/exceeding productivity and activity targets set out in annual Performance Agreement, providing daily input to Sales force including through opportunity identification and lead generation, recording and reporting all activity required by service centre management and large account(s) sponsors, and remaining current with external conditions (clients, competitors, business trends, new business developments, service rates and practices) so as to optimize Shred-it in the market place.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will require experience with making appointments and telemarketing, a full understanding of the most important benefits of the service, and the ability to transfer them professionally, handle objections in a polite and professional manner, work in a sales-oriented environment with targets, adapt easily to different campaigns, possess good reporting skills, be inventive and flexible, energetic and highly motivated, have excellent oral communication skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office and Windows environment, and demonstrate discipline and efficiency.
Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is €45,000 - €55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
