Senior Sales Director for Automated Logistics Solutions Netherlands

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our automated logistics sales team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion in the region.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated intralogistics sales, with 5-10 years of experience in selling cranes, AS/RS, and other related solutions. You will be based in the Netherlands and will be required to travel throughout the country, as well as occasionally to Belgium for training and client visits at our HQ.

Responsibilities
  1. Represent the full range of our automated logistics solutions, including ifollow, escala, atlas, and racking solutions, Warehouse Execution Software, and others.
  2. Achieve individual commercial targets for all automated logistics solutions, focusing on set KPIs for order intake volume, profitability, revenue timeline, product mix, and other key performance indicators.
  3. Support peers in the region and globally by sharing leads, relations, and experience to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  4. Guide selling opportunities from lead to order intake, including prospecting and visiting customers, presenting vendor capabilities, qualifying opportunities, responding to tenders, capturing and challenging customer needs to enable value design, drafting solutions, ROMs, and customer ROI's for business case validation, generating commercial offers supported with technical content, presenting offered solutions, organizing and facilitating customer reference visits, setting sales strategies for success, negotiating and closing business, ensuring firm proposals are validated by engineering, contracts are approved by legal, and commercials are agreed on by commercial management, acquiring PO's, and handing over the project in full to execution.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in automated intralogistics sales.
  • Strong knowledge of automated logistics solutions, including cranes, AS/RS, and other related products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results-driven sales performance.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
