Liberty Global Corporate BV is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Affairs Trainee to join our team in Schiphol-Rijk, Netherlands.

This role reports directly to the Vice President, Corporate Affairs and works closely with senior management on Regulatory and Public Policy topics, assisting the Regulatory, Public Policy, Communications, and Corporate Responsibility Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare briefing materials for senior management, including Board presentations and notes for meetings with high-level officials.
  • Analyze the latest telecommunications regulations and track competition policy developments.
  • Follow European political events and issues.
  • Support the organization and logistics of internal and external events.
  • Proofread, edit, and write documents for internal and external distribution.
  • Archive, update, and maintain files and electronic project databases for the regulation and public policy function.

Requirements:

  • A completed Master's degree in Law, Economics, European Studies, or a related field.
  • Ability to work confidently and comfortably with peers and senior-level executives.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
  • An interest in current affairs.
  • Fluency in English; other EU languages are an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills, with excellent command of Microsoft Office programs, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Work experience in a relevant professional environment is useful but not essential.
