We're looking for a highly skilled Corporate Affairs Trainee to join our team in Schiphol-Rijk for a 6-month period.

This role reports into the Vice President, Corporate Affairs and works closely with senior management on regulatory and public policy topics; assisting regulatory, public policy, communications, and corporate responsibility teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of relevant briefing materials for senior management, including Board presentations and briefing notes for meetings with high-level officials.
  • Analyzing latest telecommunications regulations and tracking competition policy developments.
  • Following European political events and issues.
  • Supporting the organization and logistics of internal and external events.
  • Proof-reading, editing, and writing documents for internal and external distribution.
  • Archiving, updating, and maintaining files and electronic project databases for the regulation and public policy function.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Law, Economics, European Studies, or a related field.
  • Ability to work confidently and comfortably with peers and senior-level executives.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
  • An interest in current affairs.
  • Fluency in English; other EU languages are an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills, with excellent command of Microsoft Office programs, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Relevant work experience is desirable but not essential.
