Corporate Affairs Trainee Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Affairs Trainee to join our team at Liberty Global Corporate BV in Schiphol-Rijk, Netherlands, for a period of 6 months.

This role reports directly to the Vice President, Corporate Affairs and works closely with senior management on Regulatory and Public Policy topics, assisting the Regulatory, Public Policy, Communications, and Corporate Responsibility Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare briefing materials for senior management, including Board presentations and notes for meetings with high-level officials.
  • Analyze the latest telecommunications regulations and track competition policy developments.
  • Follow European political events and issues.
  • Support the organization and logistics of internal and external events.
  • Proofread, edit, and write documents for internal and external distribution.
  • Manage files and electronic project databases for the regulation and public policy function.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Law, Economics, European Studies, or a related field.
  • Ability to work confidently with peers and senior-level executives.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
  • An interest in current affairs.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other EU languages is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, with expertise in Microsoft Office programs, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Relevant work experience is beneficial but not essential.
