Transmission Line Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Line Engineer to join our team at DNV. As a key member of our Transmission & Distribution Technology (TDT) advisory team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative consultancy services to our clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on the structural and electrical design of overhead lines, including interface structures with substations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on grid-related projects, ensuring seamless execution and quality control.
- Prepare specifications and tender documents, showcasing your expertise in high-voltage transmission and distribution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing clear and concise guidance on project realization and progress.
- Contribute to the development of junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Practical knowledge of CAD and 3D tools, including PLS-Cadd and Tower.
- Strong expertise in international standards and equipment in the T&D area, or a willingness to develop this knowledge.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal (Dutch is a plus).
- Ability to travel abroad (approximately 10%).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
