About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Line Engineer to join our team in Arnhem, the Netherlands. As a key member of our Transmission & Distribution Technology (TDT) advisory team, you will be responsible for delivering specialized and innovative consultancy services to our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specification of high-voltage transmission and distribution systems, including switching stations, HVDC installations, and high-voltage connections.
  • Advice on structural and electrical design, as well as practical aspects of overhead lines.
  • Preparation of specifications and tender documents.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration on grid-related projects.
  • Writing clear and high-quality reports and commercial offers.
  • Discussions with customers on design and project realization and progress.
Requirements
  • BSc or MSc level in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Practical knowledge of multiple CAD, 3D tools.
  • Solid expertise in tools such as PLS-Cadd and Tower.
  • Knowledge and/or practical experience with international standards and equipment in T&D area.
  • English language skills, both oral and written (Dutch is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel abroad (about 10%).
  • Attitude to take responsibility for own tasks and competences supervising juniors and beyond.
  • Curiosity, interest, and engagement.
  • Open mindset and easy and fun to work with.
