About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at Boskalis. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the commercial activities of our salvage operations and contributing to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as key account manager for our clients, positioning Boskalis as the preferred responder in the maritime salvage industry.
  • Maintain and expand our network of response partners and subcontractors, formalizing relationships through pre-qualification and cooperation agreements.
  • Commercially manage projects from the office, ensuring correct settlement and negotiation of contracts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Identify new opportunities for business development and variation orders with existing clients.
  • Act as the first point of contact for emergency response operations, providing expert advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Obtained a degree in a nautical or business subject.
  • At least two years of work experience in a similar role in an international environment.
  • A proven track record in a business-to-business environment.
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English, possibly another additional language.
  • A keen interest in working abroad when required.
  • Experience in the shipping, insurance, towage, or salvage sector is a distinct advantage.
