We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Representative to join our WPS Canada team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth of our company by performing sales and marketing tasks that will help us generate sales opportunities with new accounts and execute a customer retention and care program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in customer outreach programs to inform customers about our latest technology innovations, promote purchases of parts and supplies, and request feedback about their current and future needs.
  • Perform market research and prospecting for target market segments.
  • Assist with the development of advertising materials, promotional programs, public relations, and website content development and search engine optimization.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of a B2B social media marketing program.
  • Assist in preparing and executing marketing plans for industry trade organizations, focusing on identifying opportunities for WPS to exhibit and attend industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Assist the sales team with preparing WPS proposal packages in response to formal Request For Proposals and Tender opportunities, and submitting quotations in response to requests for quotations.

Requirements:

  • An effective and persuasive communicator in both oral and written English.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong presentation skills in one-on-one meetings and in group settings.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to deliver on time when placed under deadlines.
  • Minimum University Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Working knowledge of website software development tools.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in business-to-business inside sales related to enterprise software solutions that reside within complex, large-scale network environments.
  • Digital marketing program certification.
  • Bilingual (French and English languages).
  • Previous experience working in the parking access and revenue control business or a related industry.
  • Industry experience with website development and content management.
  • Industry experience with management of social media campaigns, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Industry experience with the use of Enterprise-level Customer Relationship Management tools, such as Salesforce.
