The Product Experience department plays a crucial role in product development processes, understanding consumer needs and expectations through sensory analysis and consumer research.

Job Description

We are seeking a Cognitive Science Intern to assist in text analysis for consumer research. The successful candidate will work closely with PX researchers to:

  • Conduct desk research on text analysis techniques, applications, and examples.
  • Prepare an overview of relevant text analysis providers and software.
  • Apply text analysis to a research project.
  • Write a report with results and recommendations for business.
  • Present key findings and recommendations to the internal team.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Scientific knowledge in consumer research and psychology, including qualitative research methods and statistical skills.
  • Computer science skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and XLSTAT.
  • Strong scientific and professional English language skills, both written and oral.
  • An analytical mindset, initiative, and a strong interest in human behavior and motivations.

Organization

The internship will be based in Hilversum, Netherlands, and will last for 6 months, starting in September 2024.
