Job Description:

International Flavors & Fragrances is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Product Experience team as a Cognitive Neuro Science Intern. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of innovative products by applying your knowledge of neuroscience and cognitive psychology.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct applied research on neuroscience, utilizing EEG (electroencephalography) and other techniques to understand consumer behavior and preferences.
  • Prepare and execute experiments, collecting and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with our research team to develop and implement new methods for sensory analysis and consumer research.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the internal team, ensuring effective communication of complex scientific concepts.

Requirements:

  • Strong foundation in neuroscience, psychology, or a related field, with a focus on brain physiology, brain imaging techniques, and psychophysiological tests.
  • Excellent statistical skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab or Python, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to present complex scientific concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
