About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Digital Product Area Manager to lead the development and operations of all digital products in assigned areas. As a key member of our team, you will enable empowered teams to maximize value delivery based on clear goals, ways of working, and performance follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for managing the assigned portfolio of digital products and platforms, ensuring running business, support/service performance, and development.
- Responsible for a product area direction and roadmap that considers life-cycle management and business needs, aligned with goals set by the Data and Product team and Business (Process) Owners.
- Leading recruitment, competence development, performance management, retention, and succession plans for co-workers in the area.
- Supporting empowered digital product teams with scope, ways of working, performance follow-up, and value propositions.
- Managing stakeholder engagement, including business stakeholders and suppliers.
- Benchmarking against industry standards and contributing to adoption of best practices in digital product management.
About You:
We're looking for a talented individual with experience in leading and developing people, complex stakeholder management, and transforming digital organizations from output-driven to value-driven.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in a similar position, preferably with knowledge of relevant business processes, such as Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Treasury, and Business Steering.
- Digital development practices, including agile ways of working, and passion for enabling 'a better everyday life' through technology and innovation.
- Proven experience in leading and developing people, complex stakeholder management, and transforming digital organizations.
- Knowledge of business steering/navigation processes and principles, retail market experience, or value chain experience.
What We Offer:
This is a full-time role located in Delft, the Netherlands, offering a competitive salary range between €85,000 - €115,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
