About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Developer to join our F&R Data Value Chain team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in enabling our Finance & Risk stakeholders to execute and adopt our Data Management Framework, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance & Risk stakeholders in the execution and implementation of the Data Management Framework
  • Develop guidelines and templates to be used by our F&R stakeholders
  • Monitor the progress of the execution and report on that to the Finance & Risk Management Teams via Management Information Dashboards
  • Propose improvements on the Way of Working and processes, and implement the same
  • Provide knowledge sharing sessions to F&R stakeholders
Working Environment

The Data Domain Finance & Risk is part of the Finance & Risk Business Grids (within Finance), and plays an active role for all the Finance & Risk departments. We employ 200+ staff, all of whom share a passion for getting the most out of Finance & Risk data. Our aim is to generate reliable F&R data on time. We do this by improving the F&R data itself, data systems and data processes.

Your Profile

We are looking for a pro-active, passionate person who enjoys bringing structure to a continuously changing environment, has a proven track record in driving change in organizations with complex setups and recognizes the importance of Data Management. If you think this sounds like you, check to see if your profile matches the following:

  • You've successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) and have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • You have knowledge of Data Management best practices (DAMA)
  • You are experienced in data management and/or Finance and Risk management Reporting (prior experience with BCBS 239 is a strong plus)
  • You are experienced with regulations and regulatory requirements
  • You have affinity with banking, Finance & Risk Management, Reporting & Modelling
  • You have a strong sense for analysis
  • You are familiar with the Agile way of working
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
