Business Development Manager for Packaged Gases and Buying Groups

Linde Gas Benelux B.V. is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in the Netherlands.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in business development, account management, and sales. As a Business Development Manager for Packaged Gases and Buying Groups, you will be responsible for managing large accounts, developing business solutions, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 50 accounts, consisting of 150 locations across the Netherlands, within the Packaged Gas Products segment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and face of Linde Gas Benelux towards customers assigned to develop all portfolio accounts in terms of turnover (€12 million per year), volumes, and profitability.
  • Create tailored business solutions to meet customer demands while achieving and driving company goals.
  • Manage daily business, contract life cycles, and ensure profitable growth by continuously identifying business opportunities and collaborating with the business development team.
  • Understand and utilize internal Linde pricing models to create value for both customers and the company.
  • Owning all aspects of customer daily business, including contract management, price setting, negotiating new contracts, and customer service.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree and experience in B2B solution-based and conceptual selling.
  • Relevant experience in the chemical, food, metals, or manufacturing segments of the Benelux region.
  • Strong commercial and communicative skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and multinational matrix organization.
  • A results-driven mindset to drive business growth, develop markets, own targets, and prioritize tasks to achieve success.
  • Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English language skills.
  • IT skills contributing to the digital transformation of Linde.
