Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to lead our Housekeeping team at Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and creative hotel in the heart of Amsterdam.

About You

We are looking for a junior leader with natural motivating skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. You should have experience in the Rooms department, ideally in a similar position within a hotel. Good communication skills in English and Dutch are required.

The Role

As a Hotel Operations Manager, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of the Housekeeping team, ensuring they deliver exceptional guest service at all times. Your responsibilities include examining guest rooms to ensure they meet hotel standards, overseeing linens handling and processing, and conducting briefings on room occupancy and special requirements.

Requirements
  • Experience in Rooms department, preferably in a similar position within a hotel
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Natural motivating skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with Opera and HotSos systems
