With combined sales of EUR 1.2 billion, our companies hold a leading position in the global market for surface materials. We employ around 7,000 employees worldwide, with a core product being high-pressure laminates (HPL). Our applications range from façade cladding to kitchens, design furniture, doors, and retail interiors. Continuous investment in new and innovative products is key to our strategy.
Nemho's team of over 60 technicians, engineers, and chemists is responsible for developing new products and processes, as well as improving product quality and production process efficiency by implementing new technologies.
Key Objectives of the Role
As a process engineer/chemist, you will contribute to new product and process developments in resins, papers, and production technologies for the Broadview Materials companies. You will analyze the situation in our Group factories, create models to standardize processes, and contribute to project descriptions and plans. You will also inform or advise the R&D Manager in strategic planning and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze our processes to identify opportunities for optimization and standardization.
- Develop models to standardize processes across different factories.
- Contribute to project descriptions and plans.
- Inform or advise the R&D Manager in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Contribute to innovative projects for the BVH materials technology companies.
- Execute project administration work and lead sub-assignments.
We're looking for someone with a Master's or PhD in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry, with a strong technical background in polymer/resin chemistry and at least three years of relevant industrial work experience. Process engineering knowledge, scale-up processes, thermosetting resin development, and thermoplastics are essential areas of competency for this role. Fluent English is a must, and other languages are welcome. Travel of up to 30% is part of this opportunity.
