SMART Photonics is a leading pure-play foundry for Indium Phosphide (InP) photonics. We offer foundry services to integrated photonics customers in various markets, including telecommunications, data centers, medical devices, sensors, and automotive.
Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our key clients, ensuring their needs are met, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster strong relationships with our customers to achieve long-term business growth.
- Act as the 'Voice of the Customer' towards the internal organization, challenging internal stakeholders, and striving for continuous improvement.
- Implement and improve a structured Key Account Management approach, aligned with our mission to become the trusted TIER 1 foundry in InP.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to provide customer inputs to SMART's Technology Roadmap.
- Represent our company during customer visits, events, and commercial and technical exhibitions.
- Lead the successful launch of new products, working with other departments to create a solid go-to-market strategy.
- Ensure solid administration, data collection, and analysis, securing measurable and factual statistics and KPIs.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an account manager in B2B, in the high-tech industry or semiconductors and tele- & datacom.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage unforeseen situations.
- Resilience and understanding of the challenges of a scale-up in a new technology where the 'mature' product does not yet exist.
- Open to travel up to 20% of the time (Europe, US, Asia).
- Flawless verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels and functions within the customer organization.
- Outstanding knowledge of the English language.
