The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer - Used Vessels to join our team at Damen Trading and Chartering. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit leasing offers to clients;
- Monitor market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for Damen-built vessels;
- Draft and negotiate lease contracts with clients;
- Work closely with our operations department to ensure timely and accurate execution of lease contracts;
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new clients;
- Visit clients and vessels as required to provide technical support and identify opportunities for Damen-built vessels;
- Technical education in a relevant field, such as marine engineering or shipbuilding;
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in the maritime industry;
- Proven track record of success in sales and customer service;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Fluency in English and Dutch;
