About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biochemical Process Design Specialist to join our Process Technology group at Corbion's Innovation Center in Gorinchem. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating value through innovation by exploring, developing, and optimizing processes for our core business units.

Responsibilities
  • Execute projects to steer the design and optimization of new or existing processes
  • Develop and validate mechanistic and/or (semi-)empirical models of Unit Operations to accurately represent underlying process phenomena
  • Support research, engineering, and operation by leading tailor-made (dynamic) modelling efforts
  • Reinforce and grow Sustainable Process Design competence by improving visibility and applications within Corbion
About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Process Design Specialist with a passion for innovation and improvement, knowledge generation, and learning. You will have a strong background in Process Design and Development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant Process Industry field.
