Position Overview
Triodos Bank is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Economic Analysis Intern for a period of 5 to 6 months. This role will focus on refining our macroeconomic forecasting processes and specifically enhancing our Genuine Progress Forecast.
Your Responsibilities
In this internship, you will play a key role in improving our forecasting methodologies and developing various economic scenarios. Your main tasks will include:
- Creating Excel templates for efficient visualization of forecasting results
- Developing country-specific templates to analyze economic trends in selected eurozone nations
- Assisting in the creation and execution of scenarios for the Genuine Progress Forecast
- Presenting the outcomes of the Genuine Progress Forecast in a clear and engaging manner
What We Are Looking For

- Be enrolled in a higher education program (MBO, HBO, or WO) throughout the internship
- Possess a solid understanding of macroeconomics and forecasting techniques
- Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Exhibit creativity in your approach to economic analysis
- Have strong data management capabilities
- Show interest in alternative indicators beyond GDP
- Be motivated to share research findings with a broader audience
- Have proficiency in English

You will work closely with Ernst Hobma and be part of the Impact & Economics team, which comprises 13 members, including 4 focused on macroeconomic forecasting.
