Your Role

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist within the Requirements & Process Change team, you will be tasked with:

  • Ensuring the timely and precise translation of regulations and policies into actionable (DPOT) requirements. You will be accountable for aligning requirement delivery with these standards and ensuring high-quality implementation. This encompasses modeling, data reporting, business requirements, and new regulatory findings.
  • Delivering these requirements to relevant stakeholders responsible for execution and implementation, including internal and external teams, Lenders, and the COO - Strategy Execution & Implementation.
  • Enhancing the Lending journey while maintaining a regulatory compliant Lending Chain.
  • Providing guidance to teams and businesses on the design and architecture of compliant and feasible solutions.
  • Overseeing updates of controls and participating in Change Risk Assessments (CRA).
  • Maintaining regular communication with external specialists and consultants to ensure alignment with market practices.
  • Ensuring that prioritization and capacity planning align with Credit Risk Forward / CROS and the FCD program.
  • Focusing on various aspects of the Credit Chain, tailored to your expertise and interests.

Working Environment

The Requirements & Process Change team acts as a crucial link between lending and support teams, managing the implications of all changes integrated into Lending (Support) teams. This newly established department within Lending Transformation reports to Financing Solutions (FS) and encompasses Requirement Management, Credit Process Management, and Change execution capabilities.

The scope of the Requirements & Process Change team includes Financing Solutions and mainbank retail / Small & Medium Enterprises (PL SME), while excluding retail / consumer finance and certain Dutch entities.

Your Profile

You possess a strong interest in lending, regulations, change management, and credit risk. With a solid understanding of business and financial risk dynamics, you are well-versed in the lending operations of banks. You excel in high-performance environments and are a collaborative team player.

Key attributes include:

  • Proactivity, entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive for change.
  • Experience with banking policies and regulations related to credit risk, capable of translating these into DPOT requirements.
  • A well-developed risk mindset adhering to first line of defense principles.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • A willingness to learn and grow.
