Data Solutions Expert

As a Data Solutions Specialist at Avery Dennison, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our relationships with retailers and brand customers. Your responsibilities will include managing customers' variable data for printed labeling, including price/size tags and care and content labels with RFID and brand protection solutions.
You will work closely with global production locations, IT teams, and automation specialists to ensure the smooth operation and improvement of online ordering, production, and information solutions. Your collaboration with colleagues from our commercial organization will be key to understanding, developing, and satisfying our customers' needs and requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for retailers and brand customers, as well as our production locations around the world.
- Provide guidance to customers on optimal solutions, preparing Statement of Work documentation, including functional and data requirements for program design, schedule, and implementation.
- Investigate and resolve customer and production issues through the use of systems or communication with production sites and various support teams.
- Lead calls with IT, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure all requirements are understood and fulfilled.
- Work together with internal teams to ensure solutions and amendments are implemented using agreed tools, systems, and processes.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Build and maintain data information in our internal systems and our online ordering solution.
- Collaborate with Operations teams and provide training to enable effective rollout and ongoing troubleshooting to resolve issues.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in information technology solutions and data analysis. You should have a knowledge of spreadsheet software and database creation, such as G Suite from Google and Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an investigative mindset and a keenness to resolve and find the cause of problems.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic personality with an ability to establish and maintain good relationships both internally and with our customers.
- Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and capacity to be highly organized and work independently while coordinating multiple projects to completion against tight deadlines.
- Exceptional spoken and written communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude towards presenting both internally and to customers.
- Commercial Education, Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
- Fluent English is mandatory. Other languages are an advantage.
