Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Logistics Coordinator to join our team at DSV in Schiphol.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing time-critical air freight shipments containing healthcare products, such as medicines and medical relief goods. They will work closely with international key accounts, airlines, carriers, and agents to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of these shipments within strict customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process orders in Cargowise and convert them into import and export shipments;
- Timely book shipments with (road) transporters, airlines, and carriers;
- Provide updates and KPIs to customers via phone and email on current shipments;
- Monitor shipments and ensure they proceed without problems;
- Fulfill agreements with customers and periodically provide them with achieved KPIs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- An MBO working and thinking level;
- At least 3 years' working experience in freight forwarding in the field of air cargo;
- A good knowledge of Dutch and English to communicate effectively with customers.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of €45,000 - €60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
- 28 holidays per year and 8% holiday pay paid out in May;
- 5% gratuity paid out in November;
- A favourable pension scheme with a non-contributory portion and an own contribution of 5%;
