About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join our team at ING, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and security of our Financial Markets pricing and risk application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to incident management, change management, and root cause analysis to ensure the availability and data quality of our systems.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to deploy and release new code on a regular basis.
  • Oversee CI/CD using Azure DevOps to ensure efficient and reliable software development.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Monitoring & Alerting of production systems to ensure proactive issue detection.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on IT Ops/Support and analytical skills.
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting data pipelines, with a strong understanding of data governance and data lineage.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as shell, Python, or similar, with experience in Git and CI/CD tools.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with cloud providers and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform is a plus.
