Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechatronic Design Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. as a Mobile Robotics Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechatronic systems, including control systems, sensing systems, and actuation systems for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
  • Integration and Testing: Collaborate with the team to integrate mechatronic systems with the overall robot system, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.
  • Algorithm Development: Develop algorithms for controlling the motion and behavior of AMRs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in mechatronic engineering or a related field, preferably in the autonomous mobile robot industry.
  • Skills: Knowledge of control systems, robotics, and mechatronics, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with SolidWorks and its PDM/PLM systems, as well as knowledge of EPlan.
  • Design Experience: Design experience specifically with AMRs, including the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to verify designs.
