Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Botanica, our culinary garden inside voco The Hague. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, working closely with our kitchen team to ensure seamless service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Brainstorm and develop new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Train and develop junior team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Participate in menu planning, inventory management, and other kitchen operations as required.
Requirements
  • MBO degree in hospitality or culinary arts.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for food and culinary arts.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of English language and preferably also Dutch.
