Job Description

The Client Director plays a pivotal role in forming and driving successful client relationships. This involves interacting with senior/executive-level clients, technical specialists, and SMEs to ensure quality delivery and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages the growth and evolution of multiple client relationships worth between €2-6 million in annual net revenues.
  • Leads complex multi-dimensional engagements involving advisory, data management, consulting, and large technology deployments.
  • Develops and presents new strategies and innovative ideas to grow client relationships.
  • Experienced in leading teams of consulting professionals and multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong operational acumen in operating clients' businesses to meet financial targets.
  • Responsible for mentoring employees to elevate opportunities for growth.
  • Effectively manages all commercial aspects of the client relationship, including contracts, pricing, profitability, internal revenue, and profit forecasting.
  • Accurately plans and forecasts revenue growth to achieve net revenue and margin targets.
  • DIRECTS team activities to ensure full collaboration and partnership, leveraging the company's resources to support business objectives.
  • Engages with senior-level client contacts across all areas of the client's business on a regular basis, delivering continuous business-building ideas while securing relationship and performance feedback.
  • Develops and drives growth & account plans, processes, and strategies to improve results for clients and grow the account portfolio.
  • Continually increases knowledge of the client's business and industry, often serving as the client's first-line consultant.
  • Provides leadership and direction to client and capability teams, fully leveraging direct and indirect resources to optimize productivity, service, communication, and quality in a matrix environment for assigned clients.
  • Effectively plans work, communicates changes, and troubleshoots problems to ensure client and company commitments are met.
  • Works closely with the growth team to develop proposal/presentation content and strategy for new business pitches.
  • Effectively 'on-boards' new client relationships.
  • Proactively works to assure a highly engaged team staffed with top talent, hiring, retaining, developing, and engaging top-level talent that inspires trust and confidence among clients.
  • Stays current with industry trends and best practices to proactively sell fit-for-purpose solutions and innovation.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a digital agency or consulting environment.
  • Experience in a wider spectrum of digital consulting, including strategy, technology advisory, development, and design.
  • Relationship/Client Management skills.
  • Account Planning and Strategy expertise.
  • Ability to lead both internal and client teams.
  • Business acumen to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and pro forma.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, including presentation and client engagement.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-changing environment.
  • Consistent, keen attention to detail; successfully deliver on high expectations.
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is around €85,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
