About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People and Culture Specialist to join our team at the Rotterdam Trading Office B.V. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment, where you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our People and Culture department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure administrative support within People and Culture, including employee support, such as processing absenteeism, preparing hiring documentation, and general communication within the trading office.
  • Act as a point of contact for People and Culture Center Makro Netherlands and Dutch authorities.
  • Arrange flights for staff via a booking system.
  • Support processes in Performance and Talent Management/MPower, including evaluation task creation, assignment, and problem-solving.
  • Provide organizational support on onboarding, time and attendance, training booking, and team events.
  • Support the P&C Manager with company-side projects.
  • Recruit and manage talent, including posting vacancies, job-post monitoring, and CV screening.
  • Identify training needs and ensure mandatory company trainings.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 package skills.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and labour relations.
  • Commitment to company values and principles.
  • Discretion, self-discipline, and ability to work independently.
  • Affinity with working in a multicultural environment.
  • Proactive and assertive attitude.
  • Fluency in English and preferably in Dutch.
