About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EWIS Functional Design Engineer to join our Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the execution of the functional design of electrical wiring interconnections, including analyzing design requirements, performing trade-off studies, and making design choices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing design requirements and performing trade-off studies
  • Making design choices and designing wire harness constructions and interconnections
  • Processing aircraft systems data packages and writing technical reports
  • Supporting continuous functional improvements of our Engineering tooling environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 10 years of working experience in the Aerospace industry. Your expertise should include system design, EWIS/Wiring harness functional design, and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools. You should also have a strong understanding of design processes and methods/standards, requirement definition/validation, and system safety analysis.
