**Job Summary**

Adams Multilingual Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Customs Broker to join our client's Contract Logistics division in the Netherlands. As a Customs Broker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless customs clearance processes for our client's customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Process customs declarations in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Prepare and manage customs declarations for cross-border transport, gathering necessary technical and fiscal information.
  • Liaise with Customs authorities regarding special tariff duties and other tax matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Handle objections, BTI applications, and correspondence with Customs, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and report any irregularities in customs processes, implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance.
  • Draft and submit petitions to Customs, providing clear and concise motivation.
  • Address customs-related issues, offering expert advice and solutions to both internal and external customers.
  • Communicate regularly with customers, suppliers, agents, and carriers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

**Requirements**

  • MBO-level education with a customs broker diploma, demonstrating a strong foundation in customs regulations and procedures.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and spoken, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, stress-resilience, and strong organizational abilities, ensuring accurate and efficient customs clearance processes.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with AEB software and/or WMS applications is preferred, but not required.

**Working Conditions**

This is a full-time role, requiring a minimum of 4 days per week in the office near Rotterdam. A parking spot is available for those who wish to commute by car.
