The Mitsubishi Chemical Group is a leading provider of specialty materials, driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our business.
Our Rozenburg site is a hub of activity, with a team of 60 employees working together to produce a wide range of specialist PMMA products and toll manufacturers resins and film compounds. As Site Director, you will be responsible for the operational management of the site, ensuring optimal efficiency and a safe working environment.
About the Position
You will be responsible for budget planning, optimizing manufacturing processes, quality control, ESH, and strategy implementation. This includes:
- Operating and managing the development of the Rozenburg site to meet company and statutory SHE expectations
- Planning capability to deliver the Polymer business strategy and ensuring the business is developing a stronger competitive edge through excellence
- Managing all operations and functions at the Rozenburg site, including negotiations with the Works Council and unions, and legal authorities
- As a member of the Polymer Business Team, you will be responsible for the success of the business
Your Experience
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a proven track record of achieving excellence in the management of SHE and manufacturing performance. You will have:
- A university degree, preferably in Engineering
- Multiple years of experience in the plastics or chemical industry, including contractual management
- Fluent language skills in Dutch and English
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
