About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to lead our EAME polymer commercial strategy. This role involves driving high-value sales growth in EAME and increasing Acrypet sales from various plants in different regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving annual sales targets and managing a commercial team to deliver strategic goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a tailored sales strategy to drive growth in the EAME market, focusing on PMMA partnerships and high-volume Acrypet sales.
  • Build and maintain close partnerships with senior-level customers and distributors to optimize long-term profitable growth.
  • Steer the S&OP improvement process to align customer processes with plant capabilities and raw material stock, ensuring efficient customer order acceptance rates.
  • Collaborate with the R&D manager to prioritize new product development and its commercial introduction to the market, identifying opportunities to expand the product portfolio.
  • Oversee all commercial procedures for the Polymer business, including reports, business control, commercial, and sales reviews.
  • Develop the annual sales budget, including commercial team cost budget, and manage commercial team costs against the budget.

Your Experience

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven ability to work across various cultures, demonstrating flexibility and prioritization skills to deliver the strategy effectively.
  • Long experience in commercial roles with a track record of delivering commercial strategies.
  • Ability to travel, including trips to Japan for interface management, and flexibility in communication across time zones.
  • Proven experience in managing people and maximizing the potential of the commercial team.
  • Strong and lasting relationships with key customers are crucial.
