Job Description



  • We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Pricing Specialist to join our team in the United States. As a key member of our pricing team, you will be responsible for building relationships with potential and existing customers, communicating Crane Worldwide's capabilities and service offerings, negotiating directly with air carriers and suppliers, and coordinating logistics solutions.
  • Your primary objective will be to develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, negotiate and close major contracts, and maintain an existing client base while prospecting for new clients and opportunities.
  • You will work closely with different departments and offices domestically and globally across our network to build end-to-end logistics solutions.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Must have a minimum of three years of freight forwarding experience with extensive knowledge in pricing complete end-to-end solutions for commercial air freight/ocean freight and occasional air/ocean chartering.
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts and opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to Senior Leadership and District Directors as needed.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients.

The successful candidate will be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed. The physical demands of this role include talking, hearing, and using hands to operate computer equipment, with vision abilities requiring close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
