Business Development Manager

Thales is driving innovation in its Identity and Access Management (IAM) portfolio. The introduction of the OneWelcome Customer IAM platform has led to larger and more complex deals, integrating different Thales products. To accelerate the go-to-market of new solutions, manage large deals, and work on offerings across business lines, a Business Acceleration Team IAM has been established. Bid management is a key part of this team. The Bid Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process of preparing, managing, and submitting bids and proposals for Thales' IAM solutions, projects, contracts, and business opportunities. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, project management, communication skills, and a deep understanding of the organization's offerings and market dynamics. Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and executing bid strategies to win new business
* Managing bid teams and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals
* Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and internal teams
* Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform bid decisions
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and refine Thales' IAM offerings
